Sabe aquela história de valer mais que ouro? Então, apesar do ouro ainda ser o investimento que dá mais retorno, pode ser mais aconselhável investir em florestas. Segundo um estudo desenvolvido pela Consufor no mês de janeiro, o segmento de florestas apresenta o investimento com segundo maior retorno (15% IMA 45 e 11% IMA 40) e o segundo menor risco (1,7%). O investimento em florestas só não é mais seguro que a caderneta de poupança que segue com 0,1% de risco, e só não tem mais retorno que o ouro (17%).
O estudo analisou o retorno econômico nos últimos cinco anos de seis diferentes alternativas de investimento: ouro, dólar, título público, ações (IBOVESPA), poupança e floresta.
“Além dos aspectos econômicos, o retorno ambiental e social proporcionado pelo investimento florestal é comparável com as demais alternativas analisadas, uma vez que gera benefícios diretos para a economia da região do empreendimento”, explica a consultoria.
Além do retorno, a CONSUFOR analisou o risco dos investimentos em comparativo com o índice Sharpe. Para estudar o retorno de florestas a consultoria considerou parâmetros de custos silviculturais, remuneração da terra, preços e produtividades observados em florestas de eucalipto em Minas Gerais; para os riscos foi considerado o histórico de rentabilidade da carteira de investimento florestal NCREIF. Para os demais investimentos foram utilizadas informações do Banco Central, Tesouro Direto, Bovespa e IPEADATA.
Apesar dos dados, a CONSUFOR ressalta que “para alcançar esse retorno , é necessário um bom plano de negócio que descrave em detalhes um plano operacional e comercial factível de ser executado, além de uma gestão de alta performance do ativo”.
